I get this a lot: Kersten, I've been eating more and working out less, but I'm still not getting my period!
I get emails like this almost every week, so let's talk about it.
You may think that the “recovery plan” doesn't work for you, that you didn't work out too much after all, your calories weren't actually too low and that there must be another reason for why your period is gone.
I wanted to believe it all the time as well, so I know how you feel. I believed that I'm different, there's another reason and better solution! I even asked my friends and family members, as if they knew the right answer.
